classes and programs

These are one time events, 1-2 hours long.  Parents and kids attend together and explore activities related to a specific topic.   Content varies, but usually includes a read-aloud and presentation as well as hands-on activities related to the topic.  

Suggested Ages: 7-10;  Cost: $20

A 90 minute teacher-guided learning time for parents and kids to participate in together.  The classes include a lesson and read-aloud, followed by learning activities all related to the topic.  Some activity examples include: hands-on science, creating a foldable book, and nature journaling.  These classes meet once a week and can be enrolled in by semester.  Topics vary each year. 

Ages: Lower Elementary;  Cost: $175-250/kid for each semester depending on class      

A 90 minute teacher-guided learning time that includes a variety of activities centered on a math theme.  These classes meet once a week and can be enrolled in by semester.  Topics vary each year. 

Ages: Upper Elementary;  Cost: $220-300/kid for each semester depending on class      

Private tutoring and/or small group math lessons focused on strong foundational number sense built through manipulatives, movement, games, and more.  

Suggested Ages: 5-12;  Cost: $80-250/session depending on length of sessions and class size
